Recommendations To Try When The Solidigm™ (Formerly Intel®) Solid State Drive (SSD) Shows 0 B Of Space

WARNING! Proceeding with the following steps will erase the drive.

Try to format the drive.

  • Option 1: Use Disk Management.
  1. Press the "Windows*" key + "x", and select the "Disk Management" option to open the utility.
  • Option 2: Use Diskpart. Use this option if the first one does not work.
  1. Open the "Command Prompt" with admin rights.
  2. Type the command "diskpart" to start the utility.
  3. Type the command "list disk" to review the available disks. Match the capacity to find the SSD in question.
  4. Type the command "select disk <index>." Use the index number for the disk in question.
  5. Type the command clean and wait for the process to finish.
  6. Reboot the system and go back to "Disk Management" to see if a new simple volume can be created.

Update the drive firmware using the Solidigm™ Storage Tool.
